As impressive as 10,000 PSI might sound, it’s more likely to damage, than to clean. In the same way that cleaning a shirt may require varying treatments depending on the stain, each exterior surface is cleaned differently depending on the crud. Sometimes pressure alone is enough, but very rarely.

Gutter Cleaning

For gutters to do their job, water needs to flow freely. Pine needles, fall foliage, and other organic matter that slides down the roof often chokes the flow of water. To prevent spillovers in fall and spring, or ice damming in the winter, gutters should be cleaned yearly.
Dryer Vent Cleaning

A clogged dryer vent is like trying to breath while covering your mouth with your hand. It’s not very efficient, and can cause damage. More seriously, lint is flammable.
Since dryers use a great deal of heat energy, running it longer to get clothes dry is also expensive. To prevent this, the venting pipe to the exterior of the house should be cleaned at least once a year.
Window Washing
Caked on dirt, water spots, and bird droppings—oh my! Keep your view clear of such with regular window cleaning. You owe it to yourself, and your home to have this service done at least once each spring.
